Featuring leading music industry executives and artists imagining a greener music industry.

Music Declares Emergency Canada has teamed up with the Canadian Live Music Association to launch the first edition of the Canadian Climate Music Summit!

With support from Ontario Creates, Creative Green Tools Canada, Orchestras Canada, School Night Toronto, Pop Montreal, CIMA (Canadian Independent Music Association), Music Ontario, Folk Music Ontario, The Climate Emergency Unit and more partners/supporters to be announced, we are anticipating an incredible day of speakers, workshops, panels, presentations and performances.

Ahead of COP27 in Egypt this year, we have organized a day of climate action, to share knowledge, tools and help the music industry rebuild from COVID-19 with climate at the forefront. There will be a one day summit (conference) followed by an evening panel and concert. With David Suzuki as our keynote speaker and a diverse range of panelists and performances, we know this will be an important event for the Music sector.

More information and a full lineup will be announced next week! This newsletter is the best way to receive the new information, alongside connecting with us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
